Most people don't think about money until something goes wrong.
We started Anabey to help families build a life where money stops being a source of anxiety. Financial clarity changes how people live. Not just their bank balance, but their confidence, their choices, and their peace of mind. That's what we're here to build with you.
Our story began in 2017, when Prajwal started mutual fund distribution driven by something personal, a firsthand understanding of what financial unpreparedness does to a family. Not just to their savings, but to their choices, their stability, and the life they thought they'd have. He wanted to change that, one family at a time.
In 2018, Prithvi joined the initiative - first managing client operations and the paperwork behind the scenes. But she didn't stop there. She went on to earn her own ARN, becoming a qualified distributor in her own right, so she could serve clients independently and with full accountability. By 2021, she stepped into a larger leadership role, guiding the firm into new phases, including the rebrand from U-Gro Wealth Advisory to Anabey, a name chosen with intention. Anabey is a Kannada word for mushrooms. The inspiration for the name is drawn from the mycelium network in nature, a living system that quietly connects, supports, and shares resources across an entire forest. That's exactly what we aim to do for you.
A sound financial life leads to sound sleep.
Financial planning is more than numbers, it's mental peace.
When you manage money well, you walk taller.
Financial security shows in your posture and your confidence.

Growing up, I saw firsthand what financial unpreparedness does to a family and it's not just about money. It affects how people eat, the choices they make, the life they end up living. A lot of unnecessary compromises that could have been avoided. That stayed with me. So I made a decision early on that I would learn everything I could about money, make the right decisions for myself, and eventually help others do the same. And that's how this started. I firmly believe that financial planning is ultimately about creating freedom, not just managing money.

What I kept seeing around me was people chasing one investment after another without ever asking themselves a simple question, "why am I doing this"? If the only answer is returns, that's not investing, that's just greed. Chasing returns and reacting to sentiment wiped out years of savings, and the consequences going far beyond just the portfolio. That's what brought me to this work. I believe a good financial decision should answer three things: why am I investing, when will I need it, and is the process simple enough that I'll actually stick to it. Sometimes the easy, boring path is exactly the right one.
